AMW stands for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted but we’re also known as The Big Red Machine.
Born over 25 years ago as a pirate dance-oriented FM station to bring Amsterdam’s underground vibes to local listeners (thanks to radio transmitters illicitly spread all over the city), nowadays AMW is an online radio station that has listeners in more than 150 countries.
As a community-driven platform, AMW functions as an on- and offline international platform and creative breeding ground that aims to foster great ideas and promote musical or artistic talents. AMW is proud to offer the workbench for (upcoming) artists and other creators to showcase their talent and share their unique perspectives. We stimulate cross-cultural narratives, contributing to the local dance culture with artists from all paths of life, creating new human connections and an overall positive social impact.
